As Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four battle Eddie Brock in the Venom suit, the Thing bites off a piece of Venom's tongue and spits it into the street. A local restaurant worker finds the tongue and decides to get rich by selling it on the internet. The auction is quickly shut down, however, and his apartment is invaded by Frankie and Vic who snag the tongue for Bob. Bob begins experimenting on the alien fragment. Meanwhile, back at Four Freedoms Plaza, Reed shows Spider-Man some small alien nano-beings who seem to comply to his every demand but are also highly interested in the Venom suit.
