As the kids parade down the street carrying a coffin, their innocent act takes a terrifying turn when a frantic mother screams that her son has vanished—just as the children finish burying the coffin. Written by Bill Gaines and Al Feldstein, with art by Jack Davis and coloring by Marie Severin, the issue’s haunting atmosphere is perfectly captured in Johnny Craig’s cover, where the weight of secrets feels palpable.
