Vampirella Armageddon #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeVampirella: Armageddon #4 is a mid-arc chapter in Tom Sniegoski's third consecutive Vampirella maxi-series for Dynamite, deepening the post-apocalyptic Sepulcher City mythology he has been building since the Vampirella Strikes! run. The issue is narratively significant as the first chapter to place Vampirella and her companion Walker physically inside Hell in a sustained way, using the creature concept of the Hellworm — an infernal beast whose gut inadvertently becomes a sanctuary — as a fresh storytelling device within the long history of the character's underworld encounters. It continues Sniegoski's project of reintegrating 1990s-era characters and lore into modern Vampirella continuity, a thread Dynamite explicitly positioned as a bridge between decades-long fans and new readers. As the fourth installment of a twelve-issue series, it marks the formal transition from the Sepulcher City surface narrative into the extended Hell-arc that defines the back half of Armageddon.

Vampirella: Armageddon was announced in April 2025 as a direct sequel to Sniegoski's Vampirella Strikes! series, with Dynamite pairing him once more with artist Kewber Baal, who had already established visual continuity for this corner of the Vampirella universe. Sniegoski, described by Bleeding Cool as the longest-running Vampirella writer since 1994, expressed in press materials that he finds the character uniquely comfortable to write, and Dynamite framed the series as simultaneously accessible to newcomers and rewarding for readers who had followed his accumulated mythology across thirty-plus years. Issue #4 shipped on October 15, 2025, with four cover variants by Francesco Mattina, Lesley 'Leirix' Li, Joseph Michael Linsner, and cosplay model Ireland Reid.
