Biddy gets a letter from a soldier posted in the East Indies who has seen her photo in a magazine. Biddy isn't interested, but her roommate feels sorry for the soldier and writes him back, using Biddy's name. When the soldier returns, Nina convinces Biddy to pretend she was the one who actually wrote the letters.
