Stan's girlfriend already had plans to see Dorinda so she wouldn't go out with Stan to the dance unless Dorinda can come too. Mike owes Stan so he reluctantly agrees to be Dorinda's date. Stan tells Mike that Dorinda is nice, but not in Wendy's league. Stan is inside a store when Mike meets the girls and immediately agrees that "Dorinda' is ordinary, but "Wendy" is special. What he doesn't know is that he has the girls mixed up.
