Usagi helps a village shore up a dike to protect them from a flood. When bandits rob the villagers' food, Usagi tracks the bandits but discover they're little more than a mob of hungry beggars. Usagi forces the bandits to return the food and help the villagers complete the task. The village is saved from the flood and the bandits are allowed to assimilate into the community. One year later, one of the bandits has had a child with one of the villagers.
