A bandage-wrapped figure armed with two pistols moves with urgent purpose at the center of this striking painted cover by Alex Ross, their face obscured beneath layers of white wrapping. Looming behind them is a massive, furred, bestial figure alongside other shadowy forms rendered in warm, sculptural tones — an unsettling backdrop that gives the image an almost mythological weight. Krueger, Braithwaite, and Reinhold continue building Marvel's ambitious alternate-universe epic with issue #6, and Ross's cover art alone makes clear this series is operating at a genuinely elevated level.
