Un Récit Complet Marvel #49
In "Affaire à suivre," Rogue fights to reclaim her strength and clarity as tensions with Bella Donna reach a breaking point. Written by Howard Mackie and brought to life with dynamic art by Mike Wieringo—inked by Terry Austin and colored by Dana Moreshead and Digital Chameleon—this 1996 issue delivers a raw, character-driven clash of wills and memory. The cover, also by Wieringo with Austin inks, captures the moment’s intensity, setting the stage for a story where power, guilt, and redemption collide.

Rogue manages to pull the knife out of her shoulder and get away from Bella Donna long enough for her to regroup. Candra tells Bella she exists only as long as she does what she’s told, and that both her and Rogue’s powers will slowly return. Rogue and Bella fight, with Rogue unsuccessfully trying to get Bella to relinquish her anger against Rogue for what was, after all, an accident. With her powers returned, Rogue manages to defeat Candra but is unable to save Cody‘s life. Tante Mattie allows Rogue and Cody to get closure in a beyond–death realm.
