“La chute des Askanis”

"La chute des Askanis" delivers a poignant, high-stakes chapter in the mutant saga, with Scott and Jean raising Nate in a dystopian future dominated by Apocalypse. When the techno-organic virus within Nate spirals out of control, Rachel’s psychic guidance offers a fragile hope—leading to a daring assault on Apocalypse as he attempts to transfer his essence into Stryfe, aided unexpectedly by his loyal enforcer, Ch'Vayre. Written by Scott Lobdell and illustrated with striking precision by Gene Ha—whose cover pencils and inks define the issue’s haunting tone—this 1995 French release captures a pivotal moment where legacy, sacrifice, and the birth of a new identity converge.
