Magnetic North" reaches its fourth chapter in this 2005 Marvel series, with Stuart Immonen's cover placing Captain America, a darkly armored figure, Iron Man, and a dark-haired woman in the foreground — all of them focused intently on a green-haired figure standing defiantly at the center of the composition. The framing creates an immediate sense of tension, as though the assembled heroes are sizing up someone they're not quite sure how to handle. Brian K. Vaughan and Stuart Immonen deliver another chapter of what's shaping up to be one of the more politically charged arcs in the Ultimate X-Men run.
