The TVA miniseries was announced at San Diego Comic-Con, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige publicly expressing his enthusiasm for the project — a rare instance of the studio's chief championing a comics tie-in from a writers' room perspective. Blair, whose background is primarily in prose fiction and television screenwriting, made her comics-writing debut with this series alongside co-writer Ryan North; interior art duties were split between Enid Balam and Pere Pérez, with Pérez also providing covers. The five-issue run was edited by Jordan D. White and published under editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski, with issue #2 arriving on January 22, 2025.
