Druuna måste skjuta Shastar när hans immunförsvar inte orkar hålla tillbaka mutationerna. Druuna fortsätter upp i Staden Däruppe och upptäcker att hela Staden är ett rymdskepp som styrs av den galna datorn Delta. Dessutom träffar Druuna skeppets kapten som blivit av med sin kropp, men vars huvud lever och försöker stoppa Delta.
