Because of her uncanny resemblance to Sylvia, Julia is kidnapped and drugged for three weeks prior to the wedding of 'Sylva' to Dave Hammond. Julia regains her senses enough to escape just before the wedding, but she learns the reason for the ruse was to make her the target of a Santamala gang bent on revenge for Sylvia's role in the death of a dictator and the theft of his fortune.
