Trollenbloed" — Troll Blood — arrives as the twelfth chapter of Arleston and Mourier's beloved fantasy-comedy series, and the cover sets a wonderfully mischievous tone. Jean-Louis Mourier's artwork places two broadly grinning young trolls front and center at a cluttered workshop table, gleefully engaged in what appears to be some very hands-on — and rather messy — troll-related handiwork, surrounded by a roomful of their wide-eyed, stocky kin. It's a scene brimming with the series' signature mix of warmth and gleeful grotesquerie, brought to vivid life by colorist Claude Guth's rich, earthy palette.
