The eleventh volume of Arleston and Mourier's beloved Trollen van Troy series brings "Trollympiaden" — and the cover sets a wonderfully chaotic, comedic tone right away. Mourier's cover art shows a jubilant young woman in furs triumphantly atop a stone podium, while two dazed and star-struck trolls — one spotted like a big cat, the other shaggy brown — slump on either side in thoroughly defeated fashion. It's a playful, warmly rendered scene that captures the irreverent humor this Dutch-language fantasy series does so well.
