Trencher #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this October 1993 Image release, penciled and inked by Keith Giffen, sets a wonderfully absurdist tone: a dapper, diminutive figure in an ornate bicorn hat and gold-trimmed finery blows a smoke ring upward at the towering, patchwork-armored bulk of Trencher, whose mismatched bolts, straps, and mechanical arm give him the look of a walking salvage yard. The odd-couple standoff — one character impossibly elegant, the other magnificently cobbled-together — captures exactly the kind of skewed humor that makes this series such a distinctive corner of early Image's lineup.
