Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #132

Aug 2008 · Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD; 5.99 CAD

In this wild, genre-blending issue of Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #132, the Hulk—now a planetary ruler with a palace and a pool boy named Silver Surfer—takes Spider-Man on a tour of his bizarre new domain. When Nova arrives with news of the Corps' destruction, the duo must rally help from unexpected allies, including Hulk’s interns and Galactus himself, to fend off a swarm of giant bugs. But peace is short-lived when Hulk accidentally kills his wife, Vicki, setting off a new, furious quest—just as he and Spider-Man prepare to return to Earth. The story, written by a rotating team including Zach Oat, Justin Aclin, and Jon Gutierrez, is illustrated with surreal flair and packed with absurd, high-stakes antics. Cover by Tracey John.
