Tor, a prehistoric man, encounters a tribe called the Falling Fire who are tormented by a colossal saber-toothed tiger that hunts them nightly. Tor uses his wits to defeat the beast by trapping it in a chasm, earning the tribe's gratitude and securing their promise to seal off the forbidden land once he departs. The issue also includes an educational feature on the Dimetrodon, a meat-eating dinosaur from 275 million years ago distinguished by its distinctive sail-like back.
