# Skunkhearts' Reign of Terror The full-length novelette follows Tom Mix as he encounters the evil Skunkhearts tribe, who attempt to seize him at a bank where they are trying to steal gold. After a tense confrontation involving gunfire and a dangerous climbing sequence up a mountain cliff, Tom reaches the tribe's camp and is reunited with a Native American ally who had previously broken a branch while attempting to stop him but now expresses gratitude and friendship. Tom then pursues the Skunkhearts with tribal warriors to recover the stolen gold and put an end to their criminal reign of terror.
