Titans #124
In "Le labyrinthe," the Titans face a surreal twist when a mysterious door leads Warlock and Chance into a shifting labyrinth of strange realities. With Bobby’s powers failing and the team scattered, the young heroes must navigate a world where the rules don’t add up—only to find themselves drawn into a dangerous new alliance with the Fallen Angels. Written by Mary Jo Duffy and illustrated by Kerry Gammill, with inks by Tom Palmer and colors by Petra Scotese, this 1989 issue features a striking cover by Ciro Tota.
In "Le labyrinthe," the New Mutants find themselves ensnared in a twisted maze crafted by the newly introduced Ani-Mator, a villain who commands an army of mutated creatures. With Magneto observing from the shadows and the Right's influence looming, Sunspot and Warlock race back to the mansion to uncover the truth behind the Ani-Mates' sudden appearance—only to confront the chilling reality that Bird Brain, once a trusted ally, may not be who he seems.
In "Sur les traces de Solar," a desperate Bobby races to rescue Chance from a gang of knife-wielding thugs, only to lose control of his powers mid-escape. With Chance vanishing through a portal opened by Ariel, Warlock arrives to help—but the doorway leads not to safety, but to an abandoned warehouse where the two are forced to confront the harsh realities of life on the streets. As Siryn and Multiple Man track them down, they find Sunspot and Warlock on the verge of joining the Fallen Angels, only for the group’s sudden passage through another portal to leave Siryn stranded in a quiet restaurant, utterly alone.
In a gripping twist of fate, the West Coast Avengers find themselves caught in a high-stakes escape from communist captors, only to be brought down mid-flight by a sudden missile strike—leaving their fate hanging in the balance. With allies both old and new scattered across a fractured battlefield, the team must rely on instinct, loyalty, and the echoes of past battles to survive.
