Timmy the Timid Ghost #9

Timmy the Timid Ghost returns in issue #9, and the cover says it all — the little ghost with his telltale red "T" emblem is pinned to a clothesline like laundry, dripping and wide-eyed with alarm, which sets a wonderfully silly tone for the "Sick! Sick! Sick!" story within. Blue Bird Comics brought this charming 1960 all-ages title to shelves sponsored by Schiff's Shoes, and the bottom of the cover rounds out the fun with circular portraits of Masked Raider, Li'l Genius, Six Gun Heroes, Freddy, and Black Fury. At just a dime, this is lighthearted, good-humored comics entertainment with a ghost who's more flustered than frightening.
