Tim Holt #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTim Holt infiltrates a rodeo where he suspects crooked dealings are afoot, discovering that prospectors wearing signage are actually gunmen involved in a scheme. After encountering the Calico Kid and a character named Red, Tim pursues them through the foothills and confronts a man claiming to be selling gold samples—which he reveals as fake, made of tin. Tim battles the gunmen to prevent them from stealing claims and seizing control of the mining operations in the area.
When a wild horse hunt snares a magnificent blue roan, Tim Holt thinks his troubles are over—until months later, that same horse surfaces as "Blue Blazes," a legendary man-killer stallion causing havoc at Ed Haskell's rodeo. As accidents pile up and a child's life hangs in the balance, Tim realizes the danger may be far more sinister than a simple beast run amok, and he's determined to uncover the truth before the rodeo is destroyed.
When gold is discovered in the hills near Bullet, Tim Holt's ranch hands abandon the roundup for the chance to strike it rich—but Tim grows suspicious when he finds a wounded sheriff and a beaten prospector, both victims of mysterious gunmen. Riding into the foothills to investigate, Tim discovers the gold strike is a con, a scheme by hardened outlaws to fleece desperate townspeople out of their savings, and his meddling lands him in a deadly trap that could cost him everything.
