Tim Holt, disguised as the Red Mask, battles to protect a traveling medicine show and its professor from a band of cutthroat criminals led by a traitor who aims to steal the wagons and use them for illegal purposes. When the Red Mask confronts the professor and his show, he discovers the true villain is behind the crimes and fights to save the professor's life. The Ghost Rider appears to aid in bringing punishment to the traitors, and Tim pursues the criminals across the territory toward Fort Lincoln. After weeks of pursuit through Apache country, Tim helps a frontiersman named Buck recover his stolen wagons and reunite him with his family, ensuring the freight can safely reach its destination with army protection.
