When a jealous suitor named Ned Stevens becomes involved with the gang and a character named Travis is killed, Tim must navigate the complications and expose the true identity of the masked Ghost Rider, who has been secretly working with the criminals. A secondary story features a Spanish-language adventure involving El Terror, Red Mask, and characters named Juan and Capitan Mia, with action sequences including gunfire and pursuit on horseback.
When two hard-faced bank robbers hide their stolen fortune in an underwater cave beneath Tim Holt's T-H Ranch, they frame the deputy sheriff for robbery to keep him out of the way—but Redmask rides toward the pool anyway, unaware that the thieves have rigged the area with deadly landmines. What Tim discovers in that hidden cavern will force a reckoning none of them saw coming.
When a jealous gunslick named Tomas Gallente guns for Chito Jose Gonzales Bustamente Rafferty over a pretty woman named Margot, Deputy Sheriff Tim Holt sees an opportunity—he'll use Chito as bait to expose Gallente's real scheme: a stagecoach robbery planned for the mine country route. Tim sets a trap that puts his sidekick squarely in the line of fire, and when things go sideways, he'll have to act fast to save both the stage and Chito's hide.
When outlaw Ned Stevens is caught red-handed in a murder, lawyer Matt Judd uses his courtroom cunning to argue that the only witness—the mysterious Ghost Rider—can't provide legal evidence, and the case threatens to crumble. Rex Fury, hidden as the spectral lawman, devises an audacious plan to appear in broad daylight and frighten a confession out of Stevens, using nothing but fog, clever stagecraft, and nerves of steel. Justice and deception collide in the courtroom as the Ghost Rider proves that some truths can't be reasoned away.
When El Terror plots to finally expose Red-Mask's true identity at high noon before the people of San Pablo, the masked champion must contend with a trap designed to capture him alive—and a spy in El Terror's own ranks who may hold the key to stopping the bandit's revenge. Tim Holt, as Red-Mask, races against time to outwit a clever scheme that has already claimed his hideout and put those he protects in danger. With the church bells about to toll and the town gathered in fearful suspense, Red-Mask faces his most personal showdown yet against the ruthless El Terror.
