A blinding surge of golden energy erupts at the center of this Bagley/Adams cover, with the dramatic tagline "She's Alive!" promising something electrifying within. Two figures flank the crackling maelstrom — a red-and-blue armored character on the left and a red-costumed figure on the right, both reacting with equal parts shock and intensity to the radiant, reaching hand at the composition's heart. Fabian Nicieza's "Heroic Tendencies, Part 2: Heart and Soul" looks to be one of those charged, emotionally driven chapters that made the Thunderbolts' 2001 run so compelling.
