Loki escapes Karnilla and warns Thor, Sif and Balder about a looming attack on Asgard. Thor journeys to the Lake of Lilitha to obtain its water to complete the quest, but discovers Karnilla has dried up the lake. Thor returns to Asgard to find the capital besieged by Karnilla's allies. Thor helps drive off the invaders, but Karnilla fires an arrow into Thor's chest.
