A young woman tumbles helplessly through a churning, flesh-toned void, her mouth open in a cry and her hands grasping at nothing — while a massive, unsettling red eye looms beside her like a living threat. Jo Chen's painted cover for Thor: Son of Asgard #10 has a visceral, almost nightmarish quality that sets a dramatically darker tone than one might expect from a young Thor series. Writer Akira Yoshida and artist Greg Tocchini's 2005 Marvel run continues with "Worthy," and this cover makes a compelling case that the stakes have grown considerably dire.
