A brooding, battle-worn Thor dominates this double-sized issue #25, clad in spiked golden armor and clutching both Mjolnir and a massive spiked shield as shattered ice fragments swirl around him — it's a striking image of the Thunder God pushed to his absolute limit. John Romita Jr.'s pencils and Dick Giordano's inks give the cover a raw, angular intensity that feels perfectly suited to a story titled "The Final Morning." Dan Jurgens and Romita Jr. were clearly firing on all cylinders for this milestone issue.
