A young mutant leaves the X-Men after suffering a disfiguring burn in the Danger Room and tries to return to his normal life. As he struggles to fit in at school with both a damaged face and mutant powers, he is contacted by Magneto who tries to recruit him. The X-Men intervene and T-Ray helps them fight Magneto off, after which, decides to return to the team.
