“Empowered Part Three of "Better Off Dead"”

In "Empowered Part Three of 'Better Off Dead'," John dives into a web of deception after uncovering a pattern in a string of deaths tied to a single insurance company. When his investigation lands him in a brutal ambush and a dangerous blackmail scheme, he follows the trail to reveal shocking connections—Stunner and Deuces Wilde are both linked to the company and the murders. Written by Matthew Sturges and illustrated by Roger Robinson, with colors by Guy Major and letters by Travis Lanham, this issue builds tension with sharp pacing and layered reveals. The cover, a striking collaboration by Stanley "Artgerm" Lau and Jesús Saiz, captures the story's high-stakes intensity.
