“Black Thorn!”

In "Black Thorn!", Paul Kupperberg and Tod Smith deliver a sharp, suspenseful twist in Gotham and New York, as Harry, leading an anti-terrorism workshop, reluctantly teams up with the bumbling but earnest Harvey Bullock to uncover a Russian spy. Meanwhile, Adrian—now in New York—faces a mysterious assassin known as Black Thorn, a woman whose deadly thorns and seductive tactics leave him both intrigued and vulnerable. The cover by Tod Smith captures the tension perfectly, as Adrian lies helpless, the shadow of the Thorn looming over him.
