After dispatching the Electrocutioner, Adrian and the new Vigilante finally have their moment of confrontation. Adrian shoots and kills the Vigilante only to learn too late that it is his old friend and fellow judge Alan Welles under the mask. Adrian takes off the Vigilante costume and leaves it behind to save his friend's good name. Dave Winston, watching from the shadows, is stunned by these revelations.
