Nightwing, assuming that Adrian is still the Vigilante, shows up on his doorstep and accuses his former friend of trying to kill him. During a knock-down, drag-out fight, Adrian explains that he has given up being the Vigilante but is afraid that he is going mad and might be doing violent things sub-consciously. During the conflict, the new Vigilante kills another criminal, letting Adrian off the hook. Nightwing apologizes for the mistake and Adrian vows to track down whoever is using his former name and costume to kill bad guys.
