Magneto arrives on Utopia trying to make peace with the X-Men but finds that it is his old pal Charles who seems to be most resistant to the idea. Magneto explains to Cyclops that he has been in space with the High Evolutionary trying to discover a solution to the mutant problems caused by M Day and has discovered that there is no hope for their kind. Cyclops, in turn, tells Maggie that the mutant baby Hope is still alive and traveling through time with Cable. Scalphunter is hired by Lobe to fly a plane full of Predator X monsters to Utopia.
