Peter Corbeau examines Carol Danvers and discovers she still retains some of the strength and stamina she had as Ms. Marvel. Oracle tries to telepathically contact the comatose Xavier but finds his mind full of Brood nightmares. In order to wipe out the government's files on the X-Men, Wolverine, Storm and Carol sneak into the Pentagon to plant a computer virus. When Carol sees Rogue, the mutant who stole her Ms. Marvel powers, hanging around in the corridor, an all out brawl ensues. Fending off an ambush by Mystique, Carol succeeds in planting the virus. Havok meets his father.
