José Delbo and Danny Bulanadi deliver a cover that radiates menace, with the Decepticon leader looming large against a ruined cityscape and the tagline "The Autobots' Worst Nightmare Comes True" leaving little room for optimism. Simon Furman's "The Resurrection Gambit!" promises exactly the kind of high-stakes tension that made Marvel's Transformers run such a compelling read in 1989.
