The Transformers #28
In "Chaos Part 3: Kings," the fate of Cybertron hangs in the balance as the Autobots brace for the Decepticons' full-scale invasion. With Sunstreaker disabling Devastator by targeting his weakened leg—thanks to the Constructicons' use of the dormant Scrapper—the Autobots gain a crucial edge. But when Galvatron unleashes his dark power to fuse Cyclonus, Scourge, the Sweeps, and even the renegade Drift into a single monstrous entity, the battlefield shifts in terrifying ways. Megatron, untouched by the fusion, stands ready to confront the new threat head-on. Written by Mike Costa and James Roberts, with striking visuals by Livio Ramondelli on art, inks, and colors, and lettered by Shawn Lee, the cover by Livio Ramondelli captures the intensity of the moment.

As the battle for Cybertron rages on, the Autobots now must contend with the Decepticons' arrival on-planet. Sunstreaker defeats Devastator by damaging his other leg component (given the Constructicons had brought along the deactivated Scrapper to merge as Devastator) and in essence cripples them, shutting them down. Galvatron then uses his dark energies to merge all the Decepticons, Drift (a former Decepticon), Cyclonus, Scourge, and the Sweeps into one menacing creature. Megatron, unaffected by this (although a Decepticon himself), sets himself at the ready to face it head on.
