The Transformers #15
In "Revenge Of The Decepticons Part 2: Altered Carbon," Megatron's long-game scheme unfolds as his discarded gun-mode form—scattered across Earth in a crashed container—begins subtly manipulating human minds to turn against robots. With Bumblebee wounded and anti-robot sentiment rising, Ultra Magnus leads the remaining Autobots to Omega Supreme, while Brawn is sent on a separate mission. Meanwhile, Starscream confronts Thundercracker at his hidden base. Written by Mike Costa and illustrated by Don Figueroa, with colors by Andrew Dalhouse and letters by Chris Mowry, this 2011 IDW issue features a cover by Don Figueroa.

Megatron has already put plans into motion on Earth to retake the planet using his old form (in gun mode, as separate versions of him), which he has discarded, and sent to Earth for humans to uncover via a container that crashlanded. He then used his pieces to subconsciously affect the human psyche and attack the Autobots, thereby inflaming more anti-robot hysteria, and causing Bumblebee's injuries. Meanwhile, the remaining Autobots under Ultra Magnus's command regroup at Omega Supreme, with Brawn given a different mission by Magnus. Thundercracker is confronted by Starscream at his hideout.
