The Three Stooges #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe main story involves Moe, Larry, and Curly attempting to help a lonely millionaire named Shemp find a wife through an exclusive lonely hearts club. After responding to a personal ad, the Stooges arrange an encounter at an upscale restaurant where one of the club members, a distinguished gentleman, takes an interest in Shemp and proposes a scheme involving a classified scientific plan. The story concludes with the Stooges performing entertainment at Kayo Murphy's Bar and Grill, where they sing and cause their typical comedic chaos, with Moe's character ultimately getting hit and knocked around in the finale.
When Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard are hired by a man named Bogus to help run his newly inherited tobacco plantation in Kentucky, they find themselves caught in a chaotic case of mistaken identity—local moonshiners dressed as ghosts to scare them away don't realize the Stooges are doing the same thing. As supernatural chaos erupts and everyone mistakes everyone else for someone else entirely, the bumbling trio inadvertently stumbles onto something far more sinister than any haunting.
Saggie and Figgs are a married couple at odds—the crude, fun-loving Saggie clashes with the refined, controlling Figgs, who launches "Operation: Uplifting Saggie" to reform his wife's love of drinking, gambling, and low-brow entertainment. Locked in the house with nothing but classical records and self-improvement books, Saggie finds ingenious (and hilarious) ways to keep entertaining herself while Figgs grows increasingly exasperated by her refusal to change.
When Benedict Bogus spots a newspaper ad for a wealthy woman seeking a distinguished bachelor, he sees the perfect mark—and decides to pose as a rich gentleman to win her heart and her fortune. Moe Howard's Matri-Moe Lonely Hearts Club orchestrates the introduction to the millionaire Miss Bessie Bullion, but what unfolds is a comedy of errors as two con artists unknowingly scheme against each other. Watch as Bogus's elaborate charade unravels in unexpected ways when the truth about his bankroll finally comes to light.
