The Superior Foes of Spider-Man #6
This 2014 Marvel series continues to shine a spotlight on Spider-Man's rogues gallery from a refreshingly ground-level angle, and issue #6's cover by Steve Lieber captures the team's chaotic energy perfectly. Front and center stands a purple-clad, masked femme fatale — confident, hands behind her head — flanked by a motley crew that includes a hooded figure, a caped flier in white, a grinning man in a red-and-gold costume, and a web-patterned masked villain lurking at the edge. Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber, with colors by Rachelle Rosenberg, keep delivering a comic that finds real comedic and dramatic tension in the lives of Marvel's second-string supervillains.
