The Superior Foes of Spider-Man #1

This collection kicks off the 2014 series focusing on a group of C-list supervillains trying to make a name for themselves in a post-Superior Spider-Man world. Led by Boomerang (Fred Myers), the team includes Shocker (Herman Schultz), Speed Demon (James Sanders), Beetle (Janice Lincoln), and Overdrive, as they scheme, backstab, and bumble their way through heists and turf wars. Writer Nick Spencer and artist Steve Lieber deliver a darkly comedic take on the criminal underworld, where the villains are more concerned with their own egos and debts than actually defeating Spider-Man.
