“Elbows and Cheesecake”

In "Elbows and Cheesecake," Ned Finagle’s web of deception spins dangerously when he uses his knowledge of Lady Luck’s secret identity to blackmail her into eliminating a rival, Murdock. But when Murdock turns up dead on the police steps—just as Finagle warned them—Lady Luck must unravel the mystery of who truly pulled the trigger, all while the law closes in. Written and illustrated by Klaus Nordling, this 1945 tale blends noir intrigue with a classic whodunit twist, delivered in the stark, expressive style of the era.
