Men of Mystery Comics #113
In "Who Is the Purple Tigress?", the Black Angel soars over London to counter the Nazi Air Force, but his focus shifts to Berlin, where the Fuhrer praises the Scrap Korps—young German boys gathering airplane wreckage. To undermine their spirit, the Angel recruits British children to mirror their efforts, turning a wartime race into a quiet battle of wills. Art by John Cassone brings the wartime stakes and unexpected child-led resistance to vivid life.

The Black Angel takes to the skies in order to deal with the Nazi Air Force that has been attacking the city of London. But in Berlin, the Fuhrer is complimenting young German lads, known as the Scrap Korps, for their collection of airplane scrap to be used in building more planes. So the Angel decides to try and break the morale of the young kids in the Korps, by enlisting the aid of British children to do the same, as a way of dealing with the situation.
