The Spirit #11
The Spirit investigates a criminal known as the Hood, who operates in the city's underworld and is suspected of being involved in a burglary ring. After going undercover for several days, The Spirit encounters a small, weaseled figure who proposes a safe-cracking job, and The Spirit agrees to participate in order to gather evidence. When they crack open an office safe the following Tuesday night, The Spirit uses a concealed mirror and revolver to outwit his accomplice and apprehend the Hood, recovering stolen goods and bringing the criminal to justice.
