The Spectre #15

May 2002 · DC · 2.50 USD; 4.25 CAD
“Spectre in Space, Part One: Holocaust”

In "Spectre in Space, Part One: Holocaust," the Spectre is summoned into the cosmos by his many aspects—manifested as alien entities—to confront a dire moral challenge: redeeming an entire species on the brink of extinction. As the Quoex harness the power of one of his aspects to resist him, the Spectre also sends a fragment of himself—manifested as Hal Jordan—to safeguard Helen Jordan, offering her a glimpse of divine understanding. Written by J. M. DeMatteis and illustrated by Norm Breyfogle, with inks by Dennis Janke, colors by Guy Major, and letters by Bill Oakley, the issue’s cover by Dave Johnson captures the cosmic scale of this haunting, introspective journey.
