Doctor Octopus is "Armed and Dangerous" — and this March 1996 cover by Sal Buscema makes the threat feel immediate, with Spider-Man leaping through a shower of rubble while Doc Ock's massive mechanical tentacles tear through the environment around him. A green-and-gold costumed woman shouts in the background, adding another layer of tension to an already chaotic scene. With Todd DeZago writing and Sal Buscema on interior art as well, this is a solid slice of mid-'90s Spider-Man action that delivers exactly what its tagline promises.
