Dynamite's The Shadow Now #5 brings writer David Liss and artist Colton Worley's modern reimagining of the classic pulp vigilante to a striking penultimate chapter. Tim Bradstreet's cover art is genuinely atmospheric — the Shadow looms in his signature black cloak and wide-brimmed hat, gun raised and red scarf trailing, while a ghostly angel statue brandishing a sword rises from a cemetery shrouded in smoke and dark birds. It's a moody, beautifully composed image that captures the series' blend of noir menace and something almost otherworldly.
