John Byrne, pulling double duty on both pencils and inks, stages the cemetery scene with real energy, balancing genuine spookiness with the series' trademark self-aware wit. With a story titled "Hail, Hail the Gang's All Dead," issue #35 looks like a wildly entertaining blend of horror trappings and comedy that this series did better than almost anyone in 1992.
