About this Collection
This volume collects the first six issues of DC's 2013 series, focusing on a new incarnation of the Secret Society of Super-Villains. "Attend — or Die!" kicks off a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse in The Secret Society of Super-Villains #1 (2013), where Captain Comet infiltrates the Society’s abandoned base only to be watched in silence by their surveillance. As the Trickster’s henchmen are drawn into a deadly trap, Kid Flash finds himself ambushed by the very villains he’s chasing—only to realize the Society’s next move is already in motion. Written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Rich Buckler, with inks by Bob Layton and colors by Jerry Serpe, the issue’s tension builds through sharp pacing and suspense, all framed by Ernie Chan’s striking cover.
