The Sacrificers #12

Rick Remender, Max Fiumara, and Dave McCaig launch "No Light Beyond" — a new four-part arc — with a cover that commands attention: a dark, horned armored figure dives toward the viewer, a flaming blade blazing in one outstretched hand and a massive black cape billowing behind them, with a hazy cityscape stretching into the distance below. Fiumara's linework gives the figure a menacing, otherworldly presence, while McCaig's warm orange and gold palette lends the whole scene an ominous, end-of-days glow. If this is where The Sacrificers is headed in 2024, issue #12 makes a striking case for staying along for the ride.
